Loss of Profits (Retail)

If you are a retail business we can cover you against loss of profit caused by damageCaused by any of the following: Fire, lightning, explosion, water, wind, storm, hail, snow, earthquake, impact to your building, theft of the contents of your building, accidental or malicious damage to your building or contents of your building at the premises noted in your declaration. to your business’s property.

You will also enjoy protection against a reduction in your turnover or if you incur extra expenses that could lead to financial loss to your business.

We will also pay for additional costs that you have incurred in limiting your loss of profits.

We will cover you if your profit drops as a direct result of a claim that we have agreed to pay.

You’ll get all of this automatic additional cover:

• Fines and penalties for breach of contract
• Prevention of access
• Public telecommunications cut-off
• Public utilities cut-off
• Claims preparation costs

Please note: you cannot take out a Loss of Profits policy unless you have first taken our Business Contents cover.
